Juventus Criticized for Being Center of Attention
Juventus center-back Daniele Rugani responded to criticism that hit his team after losing 0-2 to Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season game at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday (5/8/2017) Situs Poker. The 23-year-old admitted that this is fair because Juventus is a concern.
Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are the cause of criticism for Juventus. The two players tore the Nyonya Besar’s nets in the 10th and 52nd minutes.
“A reasonable thing to get criticized because we are Juventus,” said Daniele Rugani to Mediaset Premium, Wednesday (9/8/2017).
“All eyes are on us far beyond any other club,” Rugani added.
In the game against Tottenham, Rugani play for 61 minutes aka always on the field when I Bianconeri conceded. Therefore, he thinks criticism can make him better.
“Criticism keeps us humble and helps us to always improve our abilities,” Rugani said.
“I personally will try to keep growing,” he continued.
Rugani’s performance was classified uphill in the last two seasons. This is evident from the confidence of playing minutes given coach Massimiliano Allegri to Rugani in 2016 (1,523 minutes) and 2017 (1,558).
In addition, Rugani successfully donated three goals last season. Compare with the 2015-2016 season where none of the goals he created.
Rugani’s role will be more highlighted after the departure of Juventus mainstay defender, Leonardo Bonucci, to AC Milan this summer.
